Amazing
Hi everyone 😇We had a great time, I recommend to visit that nice museum, they display great art from amazing artists in a very nice building
Beautiful visit
Great visit. . Great Banksy's exposing works. Other contemporary artists some of their great works. Very welcoming staff.
Must see
Exciting! Highly recomended. I was in Barcelona Moco in November 2025, at 10.30 was absolutly not crowded so it was oerfect to enjoy
Visit
I loved the exhibition and found it inspiring. I learnt a great deal and was introduced to a number of artists I had not encountered before.
Great experience in bcn
Great experience. We went early in the morning so not crowded. The collection was pretty good and the audio guided really helpful
Small but well curated exhibition
Loved Six N. Five's videos! Some other good stuff there as well - mainly enjoyed the Banksy stuff and Keith Harings drawings
Great experience !
This was a great little museum right opposite Rijksmuseum so nice contrast . Fun garden area to wander around whilst waiting for your pre- arranged tour time. There is a free audio guide but there are also good commentary in English/ Dutch beside works of art . There are sculptures , regular 2D art and immersive experiences which make it fun for all ages - also free with the I Amsterdam card
A must do
Brilliant experience. Banksy was worth it and everything else just added to the pleasure. Well organised with a good flow to the exhibitions and the helpful friendly staff made the visit more comfortable
EXCELLENT COLLECTION OF POWERFUL AND ENTERTAING ART
FANTASTIC! Great art and great staff. Loved the entire gallery! This was our favorite thing to do this trip to Amsterdam Thank you!
Highly recommend early access
We booked the early access. Highly recommend the early access, it’s more intimate, less people and if you’re lucky like us we were the only people that booked early access and had the whole museum to ourselves. The audio was very useful, give more information and detail behind the art work as well as the artist.
An interesting museum for lovers of modern art.
The Moco Museum Amsterdam is an independent art museum devoted to modern and contemporary art. Located on Museum Square, it contains works by many notable modern artists, including Banksy, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, and Keith Haring. It also regularly hosts temporary exhibitions and some of the artists that these have focused on in the past include Roy Lichtenstein and Yayoi Kusama. Standard tickets for this attraction start from €17.95 and go up to as high as €22.95 with entry to the Pink Room for 10 minutes costing an extra €7,50 per person. I think even if you're a modern art fan, it's difficult to justify the high cost of entry, so I wouldn't rate Moco highly in terms of affordability. If you've got the I amsterdam card, however, you can enter for free, which is what I did as I was very curious to explore the museum, but I don't really like modern art enough to pay the full fee.
MUST SEE MOCO
I usually cringe when I read “must see”; however, this really is a great art visit with an approachable venue and just large enough (or small enough) that you can enjoy it without getting elbowed or burned out on yet one more museum. I LOVE Banksy! Pay attention to this artist. His wit and talent give his art a political edge that is enjoyable and thought provoking at the very best! Gotta GO! You won’t regret it! Since a prior visit several years ago, the selection of artists has expanded enhancing the total experience! It really is a super experience. ONE caution: There is NO elevator and accessibility is sadly non-existent. (Or if there was one, it was not evident). It is a significant barrier unfortunately.
Concise but well curated
The Moco Museum is an independent museum with locations in Amsterdam, Barcelona, and London, dedicated to exhibiting modern and contemporary art. Founded with the mission of attracting broader and younger audiences the collection leans heavy on Banksy, Basquiat and Haring with additional space for interactive pieces and digital art. Small considering the 24 Euro ticket price, but they do a lot with the space they have.
Fascinating indeed
Particularly fascinated by Banksy. But also most of the others, for instance Icy & Sot’s Let her be free. Very pleasant and intimate localities. Not too many works in one room, so one did ‘t get too overwhelmed.
Edgy and Inspiring - Thought Provoking - A MUST in AMS
An unexpected gem! Bansky and Warhol.Bold and Interesting. Outstanding - as always! Loved the Robbie Williams Room...Thank you and the little heart sweets - what a wonderful personal touch! Always a treat as its always interesting and changing. Urban Art Heaven!
Great for all ages
Great museum especially for older teenagers who never want to go to art galleries. Fun and relevant artists within a beautiful venue.
Wonderful and memorable visit to Moco museum
I was most impressed by the work of Banksy provided by a private collector. Also, the other works gave Moco a fresh and exciting vibe.
Wow!!!
The art was so Amazing and left a really good Impression on all of us. We enjoyed our stay so much and can recommend the museum to everyone
A must see museum.
This was the best art gallery I went to while in Holland. There was a surprise around every corner. The staff were so nice, I would definitely go back.
Loved it, but with fewer people, please
Great exhibition. They let way too many people in on the time slot, it should be fewer, because it became a bit chaotic. Would recommend though.
Excellent!
Fantastic- I have grown to appreciate this museum and what it has to offer with time. Very happy i made the time to go back and enjoy
Great morning out
Excellent exhibition space and wonderful exhibits. The building is beautiful and staff friendly though not sure how accessible it is.
visit for modern art
If you are interested with modern art, it is one of the most important museum you can visit. It's permanent collection is good and it's temporary art is satisfying. Also the building itself is wonderful.
A lot of great art packed into a place; a lot of people packed into the same place!
I have to admit I was a bit dubious about this given the advertising and the schtick on the website. I was pleasantly surprised though because there is a lot packed into a small space, and there was some surprises and some great art. Robbie Williams - who'd have thunk it - was worth seeing; there was a lot of great art that came from street art and graffiti (not just Banksy); and some great Japanese artists too. The only issue was that the art was packed, and even though we were there in the morning, it was also packed, so that sometimes you had to wait about to get a chance to experience things properly. But overall I was very happy to see a lot of this work.
Museum delivers new ideas
The art and visual installations were great. Highly recommend to those interested in today’s art expression. Immersive experiences
A must-visit for art lovers
The Moco Museum in Amsterdam offers a vibrant collection of modern and street art, featuring artists like Banksy and Warhol. Its intimate setting makes it a must-visit for art lovers seeking a fresh, unique experience.
Good
The experience was enjoyable, and I found it to be a worthwhile endeavor. However, I believe there is potential for further enhancements and additions to improve the overall experience
Overall very refreshing, inspiring and lovely museum, worth the money!
The staff was very warm to us. Williams's art pieces were very moving and refreshing. The Six N. Five made me cry and was even more moving. The rooms were very nice. Goodly selected art pieces. The Digital Immersive Art was the crazyest, so mesmerizing and fun! Really lost myself into it. The garden was amazing, loved the cool music and opportunity to sit at cool chairs. Lovely birds!
Loved the mixture of different artists
The variety of artists was really appealing to us, and we particularly like the nfts and the mirror/light rooms. But because of how packed and busy it was, the visit was a little stressful.
Unique experience!
Excellent museum, one of the most beautiful I have seen, with the help of Crystelle my experience became even better! You will love it!
I🩷Moco
Moco museum is fantastic, the ambiance is super nice and the art is accessible and interesting for all ages, their exhibition of different artists is unique. I love to come here and also in Moco Barcelona.🩷
Short Sunday morning visit
Nice exhibition. Robbie Williams was inspiring and funny on a serious topic of mental health. I like the breadth of exhibits.
MOCO is lovely!
Glad to see Robbie Williams expo still there! Also great work of Haring, Warhol, Banksy and many others. Lovely vibe in the museum as its set in an old house/villa, so lot of different little corners to turn to and different rooms to explore. Also on every floor bathrooms, didnt use them, but there are enough of them. Great outdoors to check out some more art and chill in the yard. Great location overall at Museumplein.
Robbie Williams, brilliant
Absolutely loved this. Mainly because of the Robbie Williams exhibit. Really insightful. And great Banksy art on display too as well as other artists.
SO NICE
Nice building, precious pieces of art, inspirational moments, If you are in Amsterdam take 1 hour to visit MOCO, you will save lovely memories
Would recommend! Disabled friendly too
Great museum, very interesting! They were also accommodating for my disabled partner as well; they have little seats you can carry around with you for when you need to take a break. While they can’t be fully accessible (explained on their website), they’ve done what they can to help which is always appreciated. We weren’t rushed at any point, and didn’t realise Robbie Williams would have art work in there! Would recommend!
Nice museum, mainly came for the Robbie Williams exhibition. Nice exhibition, friendly staff. Tip: You are a museum in the Netherlands, an audio tour in Dutch (spoken language) would be very nice and actually normal.
review of 29th of May 2024
A very interesting museum that is worth its hype. I am not a big fan of modern art but I found myself captivated. The separation between the different artist by one artist a room is very interesting. As well as the location itself is very beautiful! I would totally recommend it
Beautiful experience
Beautiful museum but without facilitations for people with disability, no lift to go up and with crutches it was a bit difficult. The museum it deserves to be visited. Cheers.
We will be back!
We visited this museum as it was included on our iAmsterdam cards. The exhibits that we saw were very interesting however we did have to leave part way though our visit due to a medical emergency. The staff in the gift shop were very helpful in directing us to the nearest local hospital so we are very grateful for that. We will definitely be back to see the rest of the museum when we are next in Amsterdam!
Moco
I loved this museum …it was bright modern and thought provoking…buy your ticket before as it’s cheaper …it’s not a large museum but interesting Amsterdam is a very interesting city but be aware that the City Tax is the most expensive in Europe …we paid €138 for a four night stay which we thought was excessive
I would definitely recommend a visit.
This is one of the best exhibitions I’ve been to. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. The building is a lovely setting and at the end we got to sit in the garden and enjoy the external exhibits. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Worth it!
Worth visiting this Museum. It changes from classical experience. Even little children will enjoy it. Very colourful and rich in sensations.
Beautiful Museum, recommended!
What a great museum, with Warhol Banksy, etc. With now an exhibition by Robbie Williams, great! So striking how he expresses his life in art. Recommended! Moreover, a beautiful building!
Loved it
We loved the whole exhibition. Had no preconceived ideas at all so it was a total delight. Particularly liked the Banksy's and Keith Harries
A small engaging art museum worth visiting
What a cool collection! Everything is displayed nicely and it’s fun to discover new art. The entire vibe is playful and engaging. A few small criticisms: the museum should limit the number of people allowed in at once because it was way too crowded and sometimes hard to see the art (especially around crowds of people taking endless selfies). Visitors should also be aware that there are steep staircases and small rooms but no elevator or coat check. It can be a tight fit! But if you like pop art and playful modernism, this museum is a fun way to spend an hour or so.
Contemporary art and fun
A very enjoyable visit if a little over crowded Robbie Williams exhibition was great Also enjoyed Banksy and some of contemporary displays
Love it!
Loved the amazing art! It's a beautiful collection of different modern artist. Humorous and serious, displayed in an amazing building
Educational, immersive and colorful experience!
Our visit was great and we really enjoyed to free audio tour that taught about the artist and provoked your own thoughts. The work about mental health was the perfect start to the experience. We absolutely LOVED the colors of the digital art displays and had lots of fun with pictures in there!
An inspiring visit to the MOCO Amsterdam
An amazing museum, with great contemporary art. The free mobile audio guide was also wonderful. I came early in the morning - and there was no line and not too much of a croud insinde. Worth every euro and time well spent.
